«BALAGAN» / Marbella, Spain
Restaurant
The Balagan project includes a restaurant with a summer terrace throughout the entire territory, as well as a beach complex on the seashore. The interior design is notable for the use of rattan and natural wood in furniture and decorative elements. The overall style is added by the use of textiles in shades of red, white and blue with a uniform pattern throughout the restaurant complex. An interesting feature of the establishment is the wooden windows that swing open and create a common space between the restaurant, terrace and beach area. The ceiling of the restaurant is made with imitation straw, and there is also straw hanging from the facade outside, which creates an impression of authenticity. The design uses a lot of greenery throughout the complex, giving a feeling of merging with nature.
Beach complex
The Balagan beach complex demonstrates a holistic and attractive design that combines functionality and aesthetic appeal. The complex is carefully zoned. There is a clear separation between the sandy beach with sun loungers and the restaurant area. The color palette is predominantly neutral, with an accent terracotta shade adding character to the design. The textures in the design are varied, but complement each other, enhancing the tactile sensations of the space. Large textile umbrellas provide ample shade for sun loungers and add texture to the design. The furniture is made in a single general style using accent textiles and natural wood. Potted plants and greenery are strategically placed throughout the property, adding a touch of nature and softening the landscaping elements. Wooden floor lamps are responsible for lighting the beach complex, creating a warm atmosphere after sunset.
