«FUNKY IZAKAYA» / Vienna, Austria
The interior design of Funky Izakaya, a two-level Asian restaurant in Vienna, is a unique combination of industrial and artistic elements. The restaurant features exposed red brick walls that contribute to the industrial feel. This design choice adds texture and character to the space, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal. Large stylized walls serve as accents in certain seating areas. This bold and artistic touch will draw the eye and add a splash of color to the space. The lighting design of the restaurant is unique and varied, featuring a chandelier made of branches with hanging crystals, tiered grunge-style metal chandeliers in different textures and finishes, and elongated spotlights. Seating includes a mix of leather and upholstered chairs paired with wooden tables. Furniture with metal frames and warm brown tones complements the industrial look of the space. Also, an interesting eye-catcher is the ceiling area, decorated with yellow Asian-style umbrellas. Strategically placed green plants in clay pots add a touch of nature and freshness to the interior, balancing industrial elements with organic ones.
